Gabby and Lily in the Tub!

As per usual Gabby jumps into the tub and licks the water at the bottom and sometimes if it's too slippery she can't get out... so this time Chris found her in the tub stuck again and he then found Lily and put her in there and took lots of photo's! O boy, Gabby looks so sad and Lily is just so happy she finally got to go in after her big sister! Big Smiles :o) They make me laugh every day! <3>

Jaime and Amanda

Jaime and Amanda came to the Hat to Visit!

It was short but sweet! We went to the off lease dog park by the tee-pee and then made dinner... panini's and salsa salad... then hung out and watched criminal minds... that was crazy and some American Idol... couldn't believe Danny got voted off... its anyones game now... They even stayed until my lunch break the next day so I could say good-bye! Mr. Chris was at men's league tearing up the golf course that night so he just saw them for a bit, but it was a wonderful visit! Amanda is just a great person so funny just like Jaime. We shall see them in the T-Dot for Adrienne's wedding in July!

Mum Day

Well it was Mothers Day last weekend and that means the annual 5K run with Mum! Last week I was really gearing up to train for the 5K... Monday I ran 30 mins and Tuesday I did a good leg work out... thinking that would straighten my muscles for the run in 5 days... lol. BUT!!! by Wednesday my scheduled rest day... I had a soar throat... and by Thursday I had a sinus headache that wouldn't go away with any amount of drugs... so my plan to run Thursday and Friday didn't happen and by Saturday I was in full blown cold mode and driving with Gabby and Lily to see mum in Calgary... horrible drive... driving with a cold is no fun... I am however getting a bit better at blowing my nose with one hand! The girls were great on the ride up since it was just me and no Chris, he was with his Mum! The puppies sat in the front seat... for a little bit both of them tried squishing on my while I was driving... and I don't have have cruse control so my legs were falling asleep a bit... haha. anyway we made it safe and sound! Mum, Dad and Jaime were there all doing great! Went to bed at 8ish on Saturday and was praying I'd wake up feeling at least 70% better...

Nope... I did put on my running gear just in case... but when I walked the girls I was getting winded... so no dice... no running for me... boo almost felt like I let my mum down, but she said it was fine and there is always next year... I still want to run a 5K so I'll have to register for one here in the Hat... But Jaime and Mum ran it in 29.52 and mum was 65th out of 347 in her age group so GO MUM!!! Dad and I were the cheering team and after the run we went to Nellie's the traditional breakfast place after the mum day run! Yum yum I had french toast my weakness which I love ooo so much! It was wonderful to see the rents! and Jaime too!

Drove home Sunday afternoon and Monday I was off work with my first sick day and gone to the walk in clinic to get some strong Antibiotics!

Girls Reunion <3

JBF back together again! What a wonderful weekend! We are really making sure we make an effort to get together at least once a year, which is so great because time goes by so fast and peoples lives are on a constant go go go schedule. So the wonderful adventure of the reunion began Friday morning!

Off to this cool place for lunch called the Zucchini Blossom with yummy panini's and soup. Then a walk down town to see a couple of the coolio shops. Next back to the house to check on the puppy girls. Now on to the grocery store to get food for our picnic on Saturday and a walk around the Medicine Hat Mall. OOO lets not forget the SPANX Kerri bought at the down town funky bra store! Okay then to Roscos' a pub walking distance from our house for dinner and drinks. Then back to our house for more drinks and 'Lips' on the XBox and the 'Scene It' Game on XBox as well and finishing the night up with the Mandy More movie Saved!

Saturday we went to a funky tea place 'Bee Natural' for a tea or the girls got smoothies and we were on the town garage sailing! Ended up at a moving out TOOLS ONLY garage sale... slightly awkward... Kerri did find a funky old wrench she thought would be a cool ornament but did not buy... I did get Chris some work gloves... I also found 'Little Black Book' with Brittney Murphy for only 3 bucks... we watched that Saturday Evening.... After the garage sales we ended up at the Windmill Garden Center! and we went crazy! How fun it was such a nice day and they had sooo many pretty flowers, the girls bought Chris and I a house warming gift of two planters and Flowers for our house!! We ended up potting them after our Picnic at the park with Gabby and Lily! Which was a great idea and I can't wait to do it again! The girls loved it too :o) After a little walk in the park we packed up and went back to the house and planted the flowers. Then relaxed outside on the trampoline with some beer and clam! Then off to SWIRLS!!!

Swirls is a super delicious seasonal Ice Cream Shopee! Yum Yum we got an ice cream treat and then ran to Shoppers Drug Mart to get Kerri a tooth brush... she forgot hers opps... before we went to the movie Alien Vs. Monsters in 3D! What a funny animated show! lots of laughs!

It was such a great weekend and wonderful weather!!! The girls were on the road Sunday by noon. LOVE YOU GIRLS!
