IKEA!?!?!

I have been an Ikea lover for years, ever since I went to my first one as a teen in Richmond BC with my aunt.. I now live three hours from the nearest Ikea and our home is like a paint by number with the amount of Ikea purchases we have.

What can I say I love cheap modern furniture and accessories!

I have spent many hours looking at the website and even other blogs like 'Ikea Hacker'.

Now I stumbled upon this blog Not Your Average Ordinary which then sent me too Stylist Lo Bjurulf and take a look at this new IKEA STYLE!! It is so different from their catalog and I am LIKING it! I sure hope it comes to the Canadian show area!

Messing around with Picasa

As I upload these pictures I notice the little text I wrote in the corner is really tiny and hard to see! Oh well! Now I know 10 font is not large enough...

A few nights ago the girls and I were in the backyard and I took a few pictures... and also got eaten by a few mosquito's... I have a feeling they are going to be vicious this year... and I really swell up from those suckers... I even heard a rumor around here that they are not being effected by the deet in the repellent... ooooo nooooo...

Medicine Hat Flood

We are so fortunate that we are quite high up and all this rain has not effecting us. But so many people have lost there homes, animals and farms. These are just a few pictures a short drive from our house. These last few are of the golf course we were planning on golfing at this past weekend... it is going to take awhile for this to dry up.

1st Street Riverside – Favourite Street in the Hat

Sunday afternoon walk with the girls down my favourite street in  Medicine Hat.  Some beautiful homes down this street, huge trees and amazing parks… sigh… so fun to dream about living in one of these gorgeous homes with lush green backyards that go for miles and have spectacular views. Many of them are way to big and could fit a family of eight comfortably! Enjoy!

100th Post WHAT!?!

I just downloaded windows live writer… probably the best thing ever!! no more downloading photo’s with blogger!! Faster and guess what I can ROUND my PICTURE EDGES!?!?! I love that! it is fabulous! So this picture is Chris and I on my 24th birthday party! way back in March! Happy Wednesday – I just finished yoga and it was superb!
