Mac N' Cheese

 Homemade Mac N' Cheese ... I made it last night... the recipe is from my new Vegetarian Canadian Living Cookbook mum bought me for Christmas. All went well except the topping... I got a little impatient... as I always do... and by the end of the recipe I didn't melt the butter enough to mix with the bread crumbs and the remaining cheese... so the topping is a bit rough... but the Hubby still enjoyed it and so did I!

AND to 'TOP' it off... I have it for leftover's for lunch today, YUMMY!

Mind you I did take the pictures on my 'SUNSET' function just to make the red and orange really pop!

Tonight at 8:00pm we are going to see Rob Schneider do Stand Up... here in Medicine Hat... of all the places to go! Here is hoping he will be funny!

Also going to make homemade mac n' cheese tonight before the show... should be good!

One day we will get a new Desk like this – from IKEA!

Also a better computer chair / sweet message board / grey throw pillows / still need that paper shredder (just put everything in a bag to one day get shredded) / perhaps additional book cases… although the desk will give us a lot of space!

Too excited… it is beginning to look like a ‘women cave’ sort of… a work in progress!

Time to go watch a movie this cold Saturday night!

Re-Organizing - Office

  

You can't look away... it is just so hideous...

here are the horrific Before pictures of what we've let our office turn into...

So the project for this snowy weekend is to overhaul this bad boy...

Step One - Buy Paper Shredder to go through the mountain of old bills / bank statements we need to get rid of

Step Two - throw out / recycle / donate the junk

Step Three - re-organize / de-clutter

Step Four - put up the new curtain rod and curtain panels!

(that part I'm uber excited for)

Alright... wish me luck...

and with any hope I'll have it complete by Sunday night for an after photo shoot...

Re-Organizing - Part 1 - Upstairs

Last weekend we did some reorganizing of the furniture and taking down of the Christmas Decor and such... Below are a few 'Before' pictures of our upstairs... I didn't even bother taking 'Before' pic's of our downstairs it was just so hideous!

But now the upstairs is pretty much clutter free and downstairs is starting to look like a real man cave!

So there are some after shots... it still needs a little more de-cluttering ... like the picture on the wall is a little off center now... and we need some winter curtain panels put up... FIRST we need to find a double hook rod thing... I'm on the hunt for that...

But below find the new floor cushions we just purchased at Costco! too cute so the girls can actually look out the window!

Choice of Tea for January 2011

I cannot get enough of this tea... morning, noon and mid afternoon... all day at work the kettle is working over time for me that is for sure... this is my new ceramic mug that I also cannot get enough of!
