URGENT need to rant

I really dislike people who water their lawn when it is raining out!!!
WHY on earth would you do that, what a waste of water... even if their sprinkler system is on a timer they must have an override button and can turn it off... because I find it so horrible that some people don't even have access to water and here other people are using perfectly good water to sprinkle on their already green lawns... because clearly those of us (my self included... we have yet to buy weed and feed or grass seed or really just sit and pick some serious weeds... don't judge... it may snow again here...)
who have slightly less green grass would NEVER think of watering it when it is raining... because that is RIDICULOUS!!!
What is wrong with this grass... a little yellow never hurt anyone... well this grass is from pet urine not just plain ol' not green grass... that is what portions of our back yard look like (plus these weeds that are called stink weeds and are over populating and taking over the little grass we do have in the backyard... anyway)... such is life and I choose to have dogs so you deal and you
don't water your lawn when it is raining end of story...
it will not make the yellow grass turn green... you need some new seed and dig out that over nitrated section of burnt grass...
end of rant :o)

A Snippet of May Long

May Long 2010 has come and gone quickly and with so so weather as usual! I went up to Red Deer Friday to Sunday to visit Ms. Sarah and the infamous Charlee!

Saturday Charlee and I helped Sarah out at the First 2010 Farmers Market and spread the Cuppitycakes Cupcakery word out with free samples and a few DELICIOUS cupcakes for sale! Sarah was back at it in the Kitchen that morning finishing up a GORGEOUS wedding order! First photo is us in our Uniform! It was a tad chilly at the market so Charlee and myself did not show off our uniform... but we knew they were there.

Here is Ms. Sarah posing with her FABULOUS cupcakes!! This was just the cute wedding cake / cupcake table. There were 175 or so more uber yummy beautiful looking cupcakes in the kitchen waiting to be eaten for dessert!

Saturday was an early night... I was out by 10... we were up early for the Market... I'm just a Grandma most nights and can't stay up like I used too... so tired... went to bed and got up Sunday still tired... haha. But had a great breakfast, and an adventure finding a cool diner that one day I will go to when it is open (not on a Sunday) and then finding a new pizza place called THE ROCK... BEST pizza EVER... sooooo very good.

Here are a few photo's of the scenery driving home... for some reason I always find the landscape so nice when I'm driving... so I do tend to take a few pictures while driving... Some times I feel I should pull over and take more but I just keep driving...

AND NOW what you've been waiting for... CHARLIE my car... named after Charlize Theron...I watched the movie Monster just before I bought her... not that the movie Monster has anything to do with my gal Charlie... but that is when I found out about Charlize Theron and liked the name! SO this trip back from Red Deer MISS CHARLIE hit the 100000km mark!!
I didn't honk her horn... but I did take a few pictures!

Jewelry Hanger

Well I finally finished my project I started in April... I was looking for a really awesome frame at our antique shops or the thrift stores... and nothing so I broke down and bought one at Michael's because my jewelry was taking over our dresser... so here is the frame in the beginning it was just a black brown one with no backing...

A few coats of black oil paint... the same paint I used on the little frames!

Chris helped my put it together with a few screw's and then we went off to Home Depot to find some hooks... and BAM! Complete and I really enjoy it!
Kind of a crappy picture... I took it at night because I was too excited to wait...
