Gabby Girl

Miss Gabby was such a sweetheart today at lunch! She wanted lots of attention and wouldn't run away from me when I wanted to pet her... some times she does that... she can be very skittish and will only come to you when she wants to be pet... a bit of a princess I guess... anyway she let me take lots of pictures of her! I think she knows we are leaving for the weekend and is a bit sad... but the girls will be fine, Teresa is house sitting so they will have lots of company! We are off to Toronto Friday morning for my cousin's wedding! So we will see you when we get back! Hazza!

Tuesday

Yup... it is Tuesday... and I am board out of my mind at work, yet again! We are kind of in a holding pattern... waiting for documents to come back so we can type them and then report them... SO...
I have done my usual... facebook rounds, Perez Hilton rounds, fmylife rounds, all the blogs I follow... checked my emails... checked my bank info... realized I don't have much money for our upcoming trip to Toronto... and now I am eating these bran bites... that are really no good at all... and taste like sugar... poooooo.
BUT I am wearing a pretty green dress, and new white sandals... that I bought last night... that I convinced my self I could buy because Chris had bought shoes this pay check too... golf shoes... but still he got shoes... I get shoes! Tada! That is how my mind works... then I don't leave the mall with buyers remorse and tonnes of guilt! Instead I have beautiful shoes... that I can wear when we go to Toronto and they are great for walking around... and I have great hair today too... haha so I feel good! Even though I'm bored... but I am working and getting paid so no complaining here... Time to fill up my cup with more water!
Have a Happy Tuesday!
Until Next Time -
PS I also had ice cream last night... I LOVE ice cream!

Backyard Adventure with the GIRLS

Picture Updates!!

Before: The Side by the house
After: The New path way!

The start to An evening Cupcake Adventure.

Unbaked Cupcake Batter!

The Oh so Yummy Chocolate Cake filled in a a cute Cup!

Now Time To ICE IT!

Here are some Photo's of my ICING MESS! I try to be neat when I bake but sometimes it just isn't possible and this time it was bad... Blue Icing Everywhere! and I went through about 5 of those re-usable icing holder things... it was out of hand... a bit chaotic but I knew what was going on.... except for the icing separating... blasted butter cream how you are my sworn enemy! And really it is three or four ingredients... but I managed to get it all wrong! OH WELL!

The Final Product... bit of a blurry picture...

I had lots of fun icing them even though I had some icing complications all in all it was a great adventure to cupcake land for me!

And now Introducing The new BBQ! HELLOOOO!

We have just made burgers, chicken, veggies and yam fries on this baby so far... but there will be many more BBQ culinary adventures to come! I just love how there are hardly any dishes when you BBQ! So nice!

Happy Wednesday!

Should have brought my camera to work and uploaded some pictures... I've had a slow afternoon... but It is such a Happy Wednesday! Because Chris, Jess and I are going to Harry Potter at 8pm tonight! I am super excited! and since I haven't read the book in awhile... I don't remember all the details sooooooooo it will be awesome!
It is also going to be a good Thursday I have booked a massage after work weehoo!
Only 9 more days until we are off to TORONTO too my cousin Adrienne's Wedding! and I get to see the rest of my family so pretty excited! I really like weddings! I had only been to one wedding before Chris and I got married... and since then we have been to/been invited to around 10 I'm sure! It is crazy, I guess it is just the age you are people you know are getting married! Too Fun! So the count down is on to some Summer Holidays!
This upcoming weekends plans are still up in the air... we would like to go on a day trip with the girls some where... not sure where yet... we did think about camping but we have a bit of stuff to do at the house so... hopefully cross our fingers we go camping in August!
Well I sure wish I had some pictures... I'll get them up sooner or later... we did tons of work on our backyard... and we have a sweet BBQ I have a picture of... and pictures of our first BBQ dinner w/ cupcakes... speaking of cupcakes... I want to make banana nut muffins this week...
- I also have seen a man, TWICE, wearing a black mesh sleeveless top walking when I was driving home for lunch... and clearly he has jean shorts on and a pony tail... amazing!

Okay in serious news... I am addicted to these new books.... well they are an old series that started in 1994 but they are new to me and I can't stop thinking about them!!
Author goes by Janet Evanovich and she does the Stephanie Plum Series!! Bloody Brilliant... and so funny! I laugh all the time when I read them... and I am on the 5th book and the 15th just came out last month!! and she has no plans of stopping!!! Here is a synopsis of the first book
ONE FOR THE MONEY courtesy of http://www.evanovich.com/novels/novel/33

Watch out, world. Here comes Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter with attitude. In Stephanie's opinion, toxic waste, rabid drivers, armed schizophrenics, and August heat, humidity, and hydrocarbons are all part of the great adventure of living in Jersey.
She's a product of the "burg," a blue-collar pocket of Trenton where houses are attached and narrow, cars are American, windows are clean, and (God forbid you should be late) dinner is served at six.

Now Stephanie's all grown up and out on her own, living five miles from Mom and Dad's, doing her best to sever the world's longest umbilical cord. Her mother is a meddler, and her grandmother is a few cans short of a case.

Out of work and out of money, with her Miata repossessed and her refrigerator empty, Stephanie blackmails her bail bondsman cousin, Vinnie, into giving her a try as an apprehension agent. Stephanie knows zilch about the job requirements, but she figures her new pal, fearless bounty hunter Ranger, can teach her what it takes to catch a crook.

Her first assignment: nail Joe Morelli, a former vice cop on the run from a charge of murder one. Morelli is also the irresistible macho pig who took Stephanie's virginity at age sixteen and then wrote the details on the bathroom wall of Mario's Sub Shop. There's still powerful chemistry between these two, so the chase should be interesting.
It could also be extremely dangerous, especially when Stephanie encounters a heavyweight title contender who likes to play rough. Benito Ramirez is known for his brutality to women. At the very least, his obsession with Stephanie complicates her manhunt and brings terror and uncertainty into her life. At the worst, it could lead to murder.

Witty, fresh, and full of surprises, One for the Money was among the most eagerly awaited crime novels of the season.

It is great fun! and I tottaly recommend them!
Okay 1/2 left of work and then only a few more till HP! HAZZA!

actually working... gasp!

This week... I have actually had work to do! Which I am not complaining about at all because I have had the most boaring five month of work ever... so I am Happy it is picking up and time goes by faster! So my usual time to write is... at work... *tisk tisk* so I will have to reschedule and start writing at home! I haven't even had time to upload pictures of my cupcake adventure and BBQ! It was quite an adventure... didn't know how to use an icing bag with the little funky tips on it at all... cut the wrong end the first time! and I had an emergency and frantically phoned many people to help with the icing... clearly the cupcake queen came to my rescue after my second attempt at calling right on! so pictures to follow when I get organized with this new schedule of working at work...

a sad day

Last night coming home from scrapbooking at Jessica's house... I ran over a bunny... It just jumped out and then I hit it... it was so fast... and I am sad.
Also Chris's truck got broken into last night and they stole his satellite radio... and I thought our neighbor hood was safe... they didn't steal anything from charlie... so that's a first...
time to be sad today, first the bunny then the neighbor hood...

Happy Friday!

Friday morning I woke up to some serious thunder at 5am... It didn't bother me much I do like a good thunder storm... also I did not by any means get up and take this picture of the thunder storm... this is a previous picture of a super nice rainbow I saw from our porch... I did though listen to see if Lily was scared because of the thunder... she is in the kitchen again... we tired to put her kennel in the bedroom for sleeping... but our blasted bed creaks and every move and lily's sensitive ears would hear it in the room and wake up and wine... so she is back in the kitchen and loving it... SO I listed for some crying and there was none so I fell back asleep!
GOOD Friday morning STORY!
Haha well today I am going to make CUPCAKES! In honor of Ms. Sarah whom is not able to join us at our BBQ this weekend... I thought I would try and make some cupcakes and ice them... MY FAVORITE PART... and write BBQ with icing on them... HOW Fun! so I will document the adventure and see how they turn out! I'm going to head to the Michales cake section with my 50 percent off coupon after work and buy a fun tip so I can make pretty icing swirls on the cupcakes :o)

Rabbits - thats another story

July 1st 2009, Canada Day! Both Chris and I had it off so that was super nice. Got lots of things done and we bought a BBQ!!!! so very excited about that... our first BBQ ever! we still have to put it together... but it will be done! We are planning on having a BBQ this weekend :o) FUNNY story about our BBQ adventure.
We bought it at Superstore and it was regular $299 and we got it for $99! we thought it was that cheep because we had to take the floor model and we were fine with that... so we did our grocery shopping and talked to customer service and they called someone from the department to come help us... and it was a teenage female who was there and then just left the costumer service desk...
so we waited and it was taking awhile and we had a lunch date with Chris's family so we just asked if we could just go take it and that we don't really need any help it won't be that heavy, they said no problem no to worry thank you.... and so the one lady signs our receipt and we go outside and grab Chris's truck and haul this BBQ into the back of his truck... first he had to take his work pliers and cut the zip ties that held the price sign on...
FIRST sign we should have stopped... anyWAY. we got it into the truck and were just about to leave when that teenager who got called to the front to help us out in the first place comes out of the side part storage and goes 'I don't think we are selling the model'... and she went inside to get some one...
and it took them awhile again... so we had our seat belts on and we were just about to go... then the other lady came and they went and got us one in a box and we had to give back the already made model one... but we have the BBQ and it will be so AWESOME!
haha funny story... yah thats all!
Here are some photo's of the rest of Canada Day!

Gabby Celebrating Canada Day with Style

Lily also celebrating Canada Day in Style

Mr. Chris and I Celebrating Canada Day in STYLE as well! We just completed a large hike up the hill to watch the fireworks where we parked the truck... if you look closely you will see we were eaten alive by mobs of mosquito's and they must have been attracted to our sweat from climbing the paved mountainous hill...

Pretty sunset that Chris thought looked like a swordfish!

Fireworks! They were pretty fun! Took awhile for them to start but it was worth it I think... Now I am exhausted from going to bed at midnight... which is weired because usually i go to bed at 11... but that hour must make the world of a difference! So I could go for nap right now... ah well!
