One hour and a half and I'm busting out of here!!!

Quick trip to the gas station to fill up Charlie and then home to put the toiletries in the duffel bag and a peck on the cheek for Mr. Chris .... don't forget treats and love for the girls! and

I WILL BE ON THE ROAD!

Too good ol' Innisfail! 4 hours of a boring drive and singing my heart out to see Ms. Sarah! Clearly I cannot wait for a fun filled weekend ADVENTURE!

I am most excited for the Farmers Market Saturday morning! I will have many pictures of her Cuppitycakes Cupcakery stall and lest us not forget the early morning photo's... its going to be a gooder! I'm hoping she has some testers... it has been a while since I've had a cupcake... yikes cupcake withdrawal... it is scary.... o boy yummy! I have heard she will have Cup-Pies and I'm Thrilled!

Also in the agenda is... a house warming party in RIMBY! PS. I love Rimby... I've never been there but I've always had this running joke with Sarah that she should move there... and then Terry moves there! CLASSIC How fun... so we are off to Rimby with the ladies of the Red Deer Advocate... whom don't work there anymore... but that is how I know them! They worked right beside the News Station I worked at for a while! So ONE a swinging house party. TWO a knee slapping dance back in Innisfail for their Stampede! WHAT a SATURDAY!

Rainy Weekend Update...

What a crap weekend weather... Not just raining but cold... and snowing on Saturday morning... LAME! But... my flower did survive! Hazza!

Friday I went to the movie 'UP 3D' with Jess and it was pretty cute... a roller coaster of emotions too... I was warned but forgot my Kleenex...

Saturday woke up to snow... again LAME... and I was all excited to put down landscaping fabric in our backyard flower beds and then mulch it because the weeds are getting out of control again... but no... it wasn't just drizzling it was pouring after the snow stopped...

Saturday Night we babysat little Caisie! TOO CUTE! She was a sweet heart and was pretty much all smiles! And went to bed just fine :o)

That was pretty fun times! I tried out the crazy colour function on my camera but it didn't turn as pink as I wanted it... o wells! She still looks cute! Chris and I also just took some sweet classy pictures of being babysitters...

Chris did a great monkey impression... I tried.. not nearly as good as his... I will work on it.

Sunday was a lazy day! More Rain! I got Chris to watch 'Twilight' with me! Then we watched 'The Emperor's New Groove' love that movie! I made BANANA BREAD... which I'm eating right know, YUMMY! Then Chris made me watch 'Jeepers Creepers' that scary movie about some nuts o fairy tail creature that feeds on people... bah silly scary movies which I do not like so much... I had my knee's up so I couldn't see the whole screen at times so that helped...

ooo and PS Missy Gabby got into the garbage yesterday... and it was ugly... I took a picture she went crazy ate half the bag itself and who knows what she ate in the garbage... anything and everything I'm sure... she didn't puke... strong stomach... well

First Week with the NEW camera!

How fun! The first few days with my new camera and all the funky nobs and buttons! I mostly took pictures of the girls but also a few flowers around the back yard!

Action Shot! These girls are crazy and run around so fast and play fight all afternoon outside!

Fun flower in our backyard using the macro function! It is so much clearer than our other camera and it takes pictures sooo much faster... shutter speed I think is what its called I read it in my User Guide!

This is the colour accent function! I've always wanted one of these its pretty funky! I still have to figure out how to really use it and see if can change the colour of the colour accent!

The girls look so cute in there new toggle coat sweaters! Lily's is a bit too big but she will grow into it so fast I'm sure!

Well it is the Spectrum Festival this weekend... which stands for the Festival of Sun... but it is not even close to being sunny! We have rain forecast for the whole weekend... but we are going to do some yard work with the back yard and some mulch and landscape fabric... so I hope the rain lets up a bit and we can get in there and GETTER DONE! and take a look see down town at the Festival... I think it is time to invest in an umbrella *eh eh eh* oo bad joke... Rhianna with her Umbrella song... that came out a few years back and we would dance to it a lot and I remember Kate would pretend to open an umbrella and dance under it... ooo the wonderful times :o)

Hopefully I get some great pictures this weekend and I'm bored at work again so I did bring my Users Guide to read!

A NEW camera!

I sure didn't last very long... Yesterday if you can believe it our calender said it was 'Leave the Office Early Day' and since Laurie found 'Bosses Day' in August... Phil said yes and we got off at 3:00 yesterday! Woohoo! And Chris had a First Aid work shop all day and was off at 3:00 as well!

SOOOOOOOOO we went to Future Shop! and I found a camera with a cute little 'TRIPOD' stand! and I had done some research online at work yesterday... It's still quite slow... and found this camera and read some reviews and I thought it would be a good purchase... I was hoping I could get a Digital SLR ... this was before we dropped our camera at the Dog Jog I was thinking I would purchase a camera with a bit more nobs and buttons to figure out...but... in reality I will just be taking pictures of our dogs... so true...soooooo went with this one and the price was something I could actually afford and did not have to use my visa!

So all is well I can still take millions of pictures of Gabby and Lily and use all the fun settings! weehoo! It even has a nifty battery charger! OOo we also bought Fanboys.... Funny Movie about Star Wars fans who go on a road trip to steal Episode One in 1998 before it was released... it was funny! ooo ooo and 'He's Just Not That Into You' cute movie! I read the book and they are both great!

The Dog Jog!

What a gorgeous weekend we had here in the Hat! On Saturday I went for a super great BIKE RIDE with Jessica in the heat of the afternoon and managed to not get burnt! weehoo. Then our Sunday adventure Chris and I and Gabby and Lily went to the SPCA Dog Jog with Teresa, Cody, Camillia and Caise and their dog Nakita! Everyone raised over $5000.00 dollars! and we went for dog jog then back to the park for some games and food. While walking the dog we were taking pictures and then the unthinkable happend... I passed the camera to Chris and... I had a bad pass he had a bad catch and it went CRASHING down on the pavement... baahhhhhh.... it went down with a thunk ... it kinda turns on but the screen doesn't work and its a gonner.... poop. :o(

So we still have the memory card with a few pics of the dog walk... but no way of getting them on the computer... and no camera anymore! Yikkies what are we going to do! Lily is going to grow up so fast and we need pictures to document the whole thing! So saving my pennies to get a new one... hopefully sooner than later becuase its summer and adventures will happen and we must take pictures! So for now I guess my posts will be pictureless *tear*
