Look at those crazy girls... well I had the fright of my life last night! While making Zucchini muffins the girls were outside and Lily was barking quite a bit and usually they girls are pretty good and only bark at people in the back ally... AND recently there has been a cat taunting the girls by sitting right outside the fence under old blue... SO i just thought it must be the cat and let it go for a bit while I was checking my muffins. WELL WEll well... I call the girls in and Lily comes running in and straight to the couch to look out the front window and keeps barking... and this time I go check it out and WHAT DO I SEE OUTSIDE!!! GABBY in the front on the road by my car!
FREAK OUT MODE BEGIN!!!
now Gabby is a runner so I'm thinking great we will never be able to catch her in the dark... and she doesn't look both way's before she crosses the road... So I Yell for Chris that Gabby is out and I'm freaking out because the back door is open and I don't want Lily to run out the back door while I try and get Gabby in the front door and I didn't want to run and close the back door because then I might loose sight of Gabby and she would be gone... BAH! What seemed like a huge decision that took to much time... probably a few seconds... but in the end I just opened the front door and then miraculously Gabby ran to me in the door... OMG. I think she must have been scared being in the front yard when it is all dark out... So I walked around to see how she got out and our side gate was wide open... HOW I have no idea... it wasn't open at lunch when I was outside with them... and it wasn't really that windy out... so that has me also freaked out... we were so lucky this time...
Good think sister Lily didn't venture out too... she was just too scared and barking at her sister Gabby to come back into the yard... FREAK ME OUT.
Well as is well and we will be off to Fernie at 3ish today! Woohoo!
