Well a week or so ago Chris and I went out for dinner and when we came home I saw a battery on the floor... I didn't think to much of it right away and let the girls out. When I went to pick it up and put it back in our TV remote I noticed it had been chewed on and punctured! AHHH LILY!!!!! Poison Control Battery Acid! So we called our vet's emergency line and the lady told us to check her mouth for any blisters from the acid and rinse her mouth out with water... Well it sure is hard to rise a dogs mouth out... and Lily is a squirmer... we thought about the spray bottle but... that is the 'bad dog water' so we don't want her to associate the 'bad dog water' being sprayed down her mouth with something she hasn't done wrong... so we went with a bath! we washed her and tried to shove water down her throat as nicely as possible and we looked in her little mouth and no blisters so we did not have to phone the vet and make an emergency vet run! Close Call... so now we make sure the TV remotes are on the side table button side up so there is no chance of a battery falling out!

Also! Our trip to Fernie is a go and we will be leaving this Friday night! Weehoo.

And in other news... Charlie has to go in to the shop... she is leaking oil... and needs a tune up... I never knew car's should get a regular look over to see if something is wrong... I just thought my oil change would be enough... guess not so off she goes to get fixed tomorrow morning...
