Should have brought my camera to work and uploaded some pictures... I've had a slow afternoon... but It is such a Happy Wednesday! Because Chris, Jess and I are going to Harry Potter at 8pm tonight! I am super excited! and since I haven't read the book in awhile... I don't remember all the details sooooooooo it will be awesome!
It is also going to be a good Thursday I have booked a massage after work weehoo!
Only 9 more days until we are off to TORONTO too my cousin Adrienne's Wedding! and I get to see the rest of my family so pretty excited! I really like weddings! I had only been to one wedding before Chris and I got married... and since then we have been to/been invited to around 10 I'm sure! It is crazy, I guess it is just the age you are people you know are getting married! Too Fun! So the count down is on to some Summer Holidays!
This upcoming weekends plans are still up in the air... we would like to go on a day trip with the girls some where... not sure where yet... we did think about camping but we have a bit of stuff to do at the house so... hopefully cross our fingers we go camping in August!
Well I sure wish I had some pictures... I'll get them up sooner or later... we did tons of work on our backyard... and we have a sweet BBQ I have a picture of... and pictures of our first BBQ dinner w/ cupcakes... speaking of cupcakes... I want to make banana nut muffins this week...
- I also have seen a man, TWICE, wearing a black mesh sleeveless top walking when I was driving home for lunch... and clearly he has jean shorts on and a pony tail... amazing!
Okay in serious news... I am addicted to these new books.... well they are an old series that started in 1994 but they are new to me and I can't stop thinking about them!!
Author goes by Janet Evanovich and she does the Stephanie Plum Series!! Bloody Brilliant... and so funny! I laugh all the time when I read them... and I am on the 5th book and the 15th just came out last month!! and she has no plans of stopping!!! Here is a synopsis of the first book
ONE FOR THE MONEY courtesy of http://www.evanovich.com/novels/novel/33
Watch out, world. Here comes Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter with attitude. In Stephanie's opinion, toxic waste, rabid drivers, armed schizophrenics, and August heat, humidity, and hydrocarbons are all part of the great adventure of living in Jersey.
She's a product of the "burg," a blue-collar pocket of Trenton where houses are attached and narrow, cars are American, windows are clean, and (God forbid you should be late) dinner is served at six.
Now Stephanie's all grown up and out on her own, living five miles from Mom and Dad's, doing her best to sever the world's longest umbilical cord. Her mother is a meddler, and her grandmother is a few cans short of a case.
Out of work and out of money, with her Miata repossessed and her refrigerator empty, Stephanie blackmails her bail bondsman cousin, Vinnie, into giving her a try as an apprehension agent. Stephanie knows zilch about the job requirements, but she figures her new pal, fearless bounty hunter Ranger, can teach her what it takes to catch a crook.
Her first assignment: nail Joe Morelli, a former vice cop on the run from a charge of murder one. Morelli is also the irresistible macho pig who took Stephanie's virginity at age sixteen and then wrote the details on the bathroom wall of Mario's Sub Shop. There's still powerful chemistry between these two, so the chase should be interesting.
It could also be extremely dangerous, especially when Stephanie encounters a heavyweight title contender who likes to play rough. Benito Ramirez is known for his brutality to women. At the very least, his obsession with Stephanie complicates her manhunt and brings terror and uncertainty into her life. At the worst, it could lead to murder.
Witty, fresh, and full of surprises, One for the Money was among the most eagerly awaited crime novels of the season.
It is great fun! and I tottaly recommend them!
