July 1st 2009, Canada Day! Both Chris and I had it off so that was super nice. Got lots of things done and we bought a BBQ!!!! so very excited about that... our first BBQ ever! we still have to put it together... but it will be done! We are planning on having a BBQ this weekend :o) FUNNY story about our BBQ adventure.
We bought it at Superstore and it was regular $299 and we got it for $99! we thought it was that cheep because we had to take the floor model and we were fine with that... so we did our grocery shopping and talked to customer service and they called someone from the department to come help us... and it was a teenage female who was there and then just left the costumer service desk...
so we waited and it was taking awhile and we had a lunch date with Chris's family so we just asked if we could just go take it and that we don't really need any help it won't be that heavy, they said no problem no to worry thank you.... and so the one lady signs our receipt and we go outside and grab Chris's truck and haul this BBQ into the back of his truck... first he had to take his work pliers and cut the zip ties that held the price sign on...
FIRST sign we should have stopped... anyWAY. we got it into the truck and were just about to leave when that teenager who got called to the front to help us out in the first place comes out of the side part storage and goes 'I don't think we are selling the model'... and she went inside to get some one...
and it took them awhile again... so we had our seat belts on and we were just about to go... then the other lady came and they went and got us one in a box and we had to give back the already made model one... but we have the BBQ and it will be so AWESOME!
haha funny story... yah thats all!

Mr. Chris and I Celebrating Canada Day in STYLE as well! We just completed a large hike up the hill to watch the fireworks where we parked the truck... if you look closely you will see we were eaten alive by mobs of mosquito's and they must have been attracted to our sweat from climbing the paved mountainous hill...

Pretty sunset that Chris thought looked like a swordfish!
Fireworks! They were pretty fun! Took awhile for them to start but it was worth it I think... Now I am exhausted from going to bed at midnight... which is weired because usually i go to bed at 11... but that hour must make the world of a difference! So I could go for nap right now... ah well!
Until Next Time -
